Thought Leaders on the Big Issues
Public Utilities Fortnightly’s Annual State of State Regulation Luncheon was a big hit during the NARUC Winter Policy Summit with thought leaders on energy and utility regulation speaking words of wisdom punctuated by bouts of humor.
Featured were EPRI CEO Arshad Mansoor on the impact of artificial intelligence and a panel on the importance of NARUC in utility regulation, including affordability, with NARUC President Tricia Pridemore, NARUC First VP Ann Rendahl, NARUC Second VP Jehmal Hudson, and moderated by PUF’s Steve Mitnick.
Portland General Electric CEO Maria Pope also EEI Chair, discussed affordability, wildfire risk mitigation, and demand growth. The event concluded with Smart Electric Power Alliance CEO Sheri Givens putting PUF’s Steve Mitnick on the hot seat with candid questions.
