NARUC
Tricia Pridemore is incoming President of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and a Commissioner for the Georgia Public Service Commission. Paul Kjellander is PUF Senior Advisor and former Idaho PUC Chair.
The NARUC Annual Meeting and Education Conference is where lots of changes take place each year as a new Executive leadership team comes in. But 2024's meeting in Anaheim meant even more change as a new President took over.
Coming in as the new NARUC President is the charismatic Georgia Commissioner Tricia Pridemore. She replaced Julie Fedorchak, who left NARUC and the North Dakota Commission to take her place in Washington, D.C. as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Pridemore brings a wealth of experience to her leadership position and serves on many energy industry boards.
Public Utilities Fortnightly's Paul Kjellander, also a former regulator and President of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, talked with Pridemore as she looks ahead.
PUF's Paul Kjellander: As you start your new role as NARUC President, what motivates you as you take on this leadership role?
