The Alliance for Transportation Electrification has seen its importance grow as attention has turned to electric vehicles. In June, the Alliance released a White Paper on the utility role in transportation electrification.
It is a worthy read and examines why EV charging infrastructure is developing too slowly, which creates market gaps and a hesitance by potential consumers to purchase EVs. There is a robust utility role waiting in order to take on the many challenges of electrification to reach EV goals.
