CAMPUT 2023
Lori Burkhart is the Editor-in-Chief of Public Utilities Fortnightly.
CAMPUT 2023, the annual meeting of Canada's Utility Regulators, was held in the beautiful city of Toronto May 7 - 10. The theme was Ambitious & Agile: New Regulatory Pathways for a Just Energy Transition, with some four hundred twenty-five attendees.
The conference focused on the accelerating pace of the energy transition, and how regulators need to be decisive and agile to respond to changing expectations. Many speakers and sessions challenged conventional wisdom regarding the roles of energy regulators and explored audacious and innovative ideas about adapting and developing new pathways to a just energy transition.
Public Utilities Fortnightly was there and brings you excerpts of two sessions that took place at CAMPUT 2023, along with photos. Be sure to be seen at the CAMPUT 2024 taking place May 5 - 8 in Calgary.
