Peggy Smyth is well known in the energy and utilities industry, from her time as the CFO at National Grid U.S., where she played a major role in shaping that company's strategy amid changing dynamics in the energy marketplace. Prior to that she was VP of Finance at Con Edison, and the list goes on, so it is no surprise that she is now making an even bigger mark on the world.

For Smyth has gone global as a partner in infrastructure at QIC, or Queensland Investment Corporation, one of the largest institutional investment managers in Australia. She is based in New York City and is helping the company deploy about $1.5 billion of capital every year in the U.S.

Her story is about clean energy, but also digital infrastructure, digital communication, fiber, network connections, and much more. Listen in as Public Utilities Fortnightly engages in a discussion with Peggy Smyth and how she is guiding many industries.

PUF's Steve Mitnick: Peggy, give an update on what attracted you to the industry, reflect on memorable moments of your career in utilities, and talk about what you're doing now.
