Fortnightly Magazine - December 2022

This past November, the Women's Council on Energy and the Environment held its annual awards in person for the first time in two years. WCEE's Woman of the Year Award honored two exceptional woman leaders, Brenda Mallory, Chair of the Council on Environmental Quality, and Gina McCarthy, former White House National Climate Director and EPA Administrator. Their Champion Award was presented to two important mentors to women in the energy and environmental fields, Energy Co-Director of the National Resource Defense Council Ralph Cavanagh, and PUF's own Executive Editor Steve Mitnick.
