The division oversees inspection standards and facilities performing inspections throughout the state for any vehicles permitted to be registered, from motorcycles to tractor-trailers.

It was with the Maryland State Police that I worked my way up into the Training Division, where I was directly involved with training division personnel, and was tasked with interpreting existing inspection standards and drafting any new regulations.
