ITC Holdings
Linda Apsey is the CEO of ITC Holdings.
PUF examines our industry's drive to diversify its workforce and spend. This section focuses on the progress at ITC Holdings described by its CEO Linda Apsey.
PUF: Tell us about your time at ITC and how the company relates to diversity and inclusion?
Linda Apsey: ITC has been part of my life for almost twenty years, and I love it. I want everyone at ITC to be able to feel as passionate as I do and know they own this. And at the end of the day, I want each employee to know they are valued.,
I fundamentally believe that we, as an organization, will be more successful when everyone shares our core values, feels included, knows they're respected for who they are, and how they contribute. Ultimately that's going to drive our success.
PUF: Talk about ITC's evolution and those core values. Isn't your senior team mostly women?
Linda Apsey: Yes. We spun off from DTE Energy. At the time, there were forty of us that transferred with the transaction that established ITC from almost nothing, very much a start-up company. We had the benefit of four hundred million in assets, but we had no back office, no lines of credit, and no employee benefits.
