The Association of Energy Services Professionals the last week of January held its thirty-first annual conference, Charging 2021 Forward. Upon learning, adapting, and innovating from 2020, when AESP's annual conference was held in person in Anaheim, AESP realized lessons from resiliency in the face of unprecedented change from the pandemic.

At its 2021 virtual annual conference, AESP applied what was learned to charge forward into 2021. With panels focused on top industry issues of energy equity and diversity, decarbonization, electrification and electric vehicles, gas energy efficiency, COVID response, distributed energy resources, and grid integration, there was much to take in. Excerpted here are highlights.
