A racial justice reckoning that has us examining our institutional structures and how we think, and a climate change crisis, which has become more pronounced this year in the West, which has been besieged by growing number and strength of wildfires and extreme heat, and air pollution that has blanketed cities and regions. In Iowa and Louisiana, dealing with the devastation wrought by extreme weather events.
