The USEA sadly announced the death of executive director, Barry Worthington, who passed away August 14 at his home in Maryland. Worthington leaves behind his beloved wife, Louise and their two children, Barry and Kerry.

NARUC also issued a statement, as Barry's daughter, Kerry, is a valued member of the NARUC team. NARUC said, "we are keeping her and the entire Worthington family in our thoughts and prayers. To our friends at USEA, we understand that the loss is significant, both professionally and personally."
