If you can get there, to Charlotte, by plane, or by car, or by bus, or by boat (which could be a real challenge), then you can get by the gate for zip, zero, zilch. Because if you’re with a state utility commission, state consumer advocate office, state legislature, state governor’s office, state energy office, or a state whatever, the fee to attend Electrification 2020 giga-conference is gratis, gratuit, free.
Even if you’re not a state employee the conference fee is a steal. Considering you’re going to glimpse our industry’s future — and touch and feel it in the gigundo exhibition hall — along with three thousand of your closest friends in utility management, planning, operations, innovation, regulation and policy. And considering you’re going to collaborate with all those good people to craft our future in the workshops and session rooms, at the tech pitches, with vendors at their demo booths, and in the hallways betwixt and between.
Check out Electrification2020 for details.
April 8 and 9 are the core days of the giga-conference when everybody who’s anybody will be there in Charlotte. So even if you’re as busy as I am, or worse, you need to be there on that Wednesday and Thursday.
Indeed, those are the first days of a religious holiday for me, Passover. So when you see me there, feel free to ask for a piece of matzoh. I’ll have some in my bag.
