CAMPUT 2019
Christine Long, Ted Antonopoulos and Brian Hewson are part of the Ontario Energy Board.
PUF interviewed regulators of nine of the ten provinces of Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. And of the FERC-like National Energy Board. And of the vast northern territory Nunavut, the frozen home of Inuit villages that reaches to the North Pole.
Part 2 of this series includes interviews of the eastern and midwestern Canadian regulators. See Part 1 for interviews of the western and northern regulators.
PUF: Christine, you're the registrar of the Ontario Energy Board. What's your job like?
Christine Long: The registrar is a fairly new position. It's been around for five years and what we identified at the OEB was a need to have a lawyer deal with initial procedural issues as applications were coming in.
