PUF was invited to a lunch sumptuous in both its food and its entertainment, the latter a Smart Cities & Communities Roundtable. This one was entitled Spectrum of Possibilities: 5G and Smarter Telecommunications Infrastructure. The panel featured experts like Major General Robert Wheeler, U.S. Air Force, Retired, who served as deputy chief information officer at the Department of Defense, where he led cybersecurity modernization in critical national security systems. Another step for the Dentons Smart Cities & Communities Think Tank, which has conceptualized fourteen key pillars for analysis to "capture essential city structures, services, and goals and to include all key stakeholder voices," such as energy, transportation, water, wastewater and waste, buildings and city planning, health and safety, investment and economic development, telecommunications, and cyber and physical security.
