They are the unsung heroes of electric and natural gas utility regulation. Few know their names. Though in any regulatory proceeding, these are the women and men assembling the mass of filings by the intervenors and reading them for staff participation and to support commissioner decisionmaking. And beyond the hearing room, they’re constantly working with commissioners, customers, utilities, and other agencies and parties to ensure safe, reliable, affordable and clean utility service in the public interest.
