William J. Froehlich has been appointed director of the re-established Office of Administrative Litigation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Froehlich has been an attorney with FERC since 1975. As the head of the office, Froehlich will report directly to FERC Chairman Pat Wood III and the commissioners.

Exelon Power has named Preston D. Swafford to be vice president at the company. In his new role, he will oversee Exelon Power's operations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, and Texas. Swafford served previously as site vice president of Exelon Nuclear's Dresden Generating Station in Illinois.

EEI Annual Meeting 2024 - June 18-20

Dale E. Heydlauff has been named senior vice president, government and environmental affairs, for American Electric Power (AEP). Heydlauff succeeds Thomas Hagan, who was recently named executive vice president, shared services, for AEP. In his new role, Heydlauff will oversee AEP's 11 state offices, which provide community, customer, and government relations services, and will supervise the company's Washington, D.C. office.
