Burns & McDonnell held its Transmission Symposium with the theme, Power Progress, at its World Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri from April 29 – May 1. The informative symposium focused on exploring challenges, regulations, trends, and innovative ideas in the electrical transmission industry.

Because there are few industry-level opportunities to explore the details of electrical transmission, this symposium provided opportunities to discuss and learn from practical experience. The event was well attended by engineers and managers in the electric transmission industry.
The PUF team was there too and brings you here conversations with those on the front lines of getting electric transmission built. It is a tough job and here is the latest from the experts working hard to keep the lights on.
