It seems hard to believe that it has been one year since NARUC's Annual Meeting and Education Conference in La Quinta, California when then-NARUC President Michael Caron passed the reigns of the top job to North Dakota Commissioner Julie Fedorchak. History was made that day as NARUC's new President was part of the first all-female leadership of the Association, with Georgia's Tricia Pridemore as First Vice President and Washington's Ann Rendahl as Second Vice President.

Now, NARUC President Julie Fedorchak will place the job in the capable hands of Commissioner Pridemore. Much has taken place during Fedorchak's tenure under the theme, "Focused on the Future: State Regulators Leading the Way."

One of the big events was the announced retirement of long-serving and much-admired Executive Director Greg White. Fedorchak, who somehow juggled running for office with being a Commissioner and NARUC President, looks ahead here and back at the year, including the hiring of White's replacement, Tony Clark, also a former NARUC President and North Dakota Commissioner.
