Exelon recently released its 2023 Exelon Sustainability Report, encompassing one hundred ninety-three pages that detail its programs and performance in the areas of economic, social, governance, and environmental initiatives. Commitment to sustainability by Exelon is central to providing reliable, affordable, and innovative energy products and services that enable increasingly lower-carbon energy as the industry transforms.

As a pure T&D company, it will focus on building, operating, and optimizing delivery systems and will invest $34.5 billion over the four-year period of 2024 - 2027. Much of that aims to strengthen and modernize the T&D system, including enabling increased electrification and integrating renewable energy into the grid.

There is a lot to unpack in the report, so Public Utilities Fortnightly talked about it with an expert on what it all means. Enjoy this discussion with Exelon Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer Sunny Elebua.
