This panel at CAMPUT 2024, Recharging the Role of Regulators with Zero-Emission Vehicles, took on the nascent market of public charging stations with regulated and unregulated players. Regulated entities may, or may not, have rates designed for public EV charging.

This leads to a range of offers and pricing solutions that can leave electric vehicle owners bewildered and may hamper the rollout of EV charging infrastructure. What can a regulator do to help?

Taking on these big issues were Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers' Association CEO Brian Kingston, FLO Chief Legal Officer Travis Allan, Hydro Quebec Director of e-Mobility France Lampron, and University of Calgary's Blake Shaffer.
