Edison Congress 2023 last spring brought together operations and engineering leaders of thirty-two different electric utilities with service territories in the U.S. Topping that, this year, Edison Congress 2024 brought together ops and engineering leaders of forty-three U.S. electric utilities, many with two or three or four officers in attendance at the conference.
Hosted by Public Utilities Fortnightly and the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies, this unique event is by and for the women and men who lead their electric power generation, transmission, and distribution organizations. Kicked off by the CEO Panel and COO Panel and closed the next day by the Engineering Leaders Panel and Operations Leaders Panel, each session was really a conversation among peers about their common challenges, lessons learned, and best practices. Invite-only, off-the-record, and most appreciated, PowerPoint-free.
See our Facebook gallery of the more than seventy-five speakers and panelists, mainly electric utility ops and engineering leaders at their companies, and a few of the special atmosphere at the event.
