The Alliance to Save Energy held its thirty-first annual Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Gala on September 19 at the Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.
President Paula Glover opened the event with an enlightening speech tying together the thirty-first anniversary of the Gala, affectionally called the Prom, with the fiftieth anniversary of Hip-Hop Music. It was followed by the presentation of twelve awards. Everyone in attendance truly was a Star.
