Edison International CEO Pedro Pizarro assumes the role of EEI’s Chair from Ameren Executive Chair Warner Baxter.
The Edison Electric Institute annual convention featured many big names, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Deion Sanders to name a few. Though for the nearly thousand attendees, the premier session of the convention was the CEO Roundtable. Moderated by Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good, the panel included Ameren Executive Chair Warner Baxter, Edison International CEO Pedro Pizarro, and Portland General Electric CEO Maria Pope. Baxter was finishing up his term as EEI's Chair and handing off the reins to Pizarro. Pope takes on the role for the next twelve months as EEI Vice Chair.
