Launched in 2016 by EEI International Programs, the Global Electrification Forum (GEF) is EEI's annual gathering for international electric company executives and business leaders to collaborate on today's most important issues and priorities.

For the past two years, EEI International Programs hosted the GEF virtually and expanded sessions to a wider audience by welcoming people across various industries. This year, the GEF will be hybrid, allowing employees at every level of our member companies around the globe, professionals across all sectors, students, faculty, and the interested public to join the dialogue.

Power, Climate, Action: Energizing Eight Billion Lives and More

I am proud to introduce this year's program for EEI's seventh annual GEF, which will take place from April 17-21. Our hybrid conference will once again convene electric company CEOs and executives from across the world for discussions around the technologies, policies, and markets set to shape and inform the international electricity industry.

Year after year, the GEF evolves in response to our ever-changing industry and the world we aim to electrify. In an era of new global challenges, electric companies are leading the multisectoral effort to provide universal electrification to a world of more than eight billion citizens.
