This year, CERAWeek had more than 8,000 attendees and 1,400 speakers. From more than ninety countries. PUF provides excerpts from two sessions, one with the FERC Chair, and the second with ERCOT leaders Peter Lake, Pablo Vegas, Allen Nye.

Of course, Winter Storm Uri was a devastating tragedy that highlighted many vulnerabilities our grid has. We've been working at an absolutely breakneck pace since then to repair what was broken and set the stage for long-term reliability. 

Uri showed us there were two big vulnerabilities in our grid. First, vulnerability to extreme weather events. And second, resource adequacy over longer periods of time.

The first challenge, the extreme weather events, we've largely addressed with our first phase of reforms, as we have really better coordination with natural gas partners and things like that.
