Because it's a big world with lots to be discovered, the March issue of Public Utilities Fortnightly took you along with the Smart Electric Power Alliance on its fact-finding mission to Australia with an executive from PPL Electric Utilities. This month, the journey continues because SEPA believes it is important to learn from what is going in the energy and utilities industry in other countries.

SEPA and a select group of energy executives recently returned from a mission to Australia, with fresh insights gained into how high levels of distributed, rooftop solar have changed the energy landscape. There is a lot to be learned from what has been installed there.

This issue continues the discussion of the impacts of the transition into a more distributed energy future as seen in Australia and how that translates to the U.S., with SEPA CEO Sheri Givens and Arizona Public Service VP for Transmission and Distribution Operations Tony Tewelis.
