The Alliance to Save Energy on October 5th announced its Energy 2040, an initiative to reduce emissions while advancing equity, reliability, and affordability outcomes. Supporters gathered at the Edison Electric Institute in Washington, D.C., to witness the launch, including the unveiling of the Energy 2040 logo. Speaking at the event were Paula Glover, Alliance to Save Energy President and Helen Burt, National Commission on Energy Efficiency Policy Chair and Chief Customer Officer at National Grid US. More information on Energy 2040 is coming at the beginning of 2023. Enjoy these excerpts.
