AEIC
Lori Burkhart is Editor-in-Chief of Public Utilities Fortnightly.
Each year, AEIC's member companies demonstrate their innovation and commitment to achieving a modernized electric grid that delivers a secure energy future for all. To show gratitude, AEIC annually presents select member companies, committees, and subcommittees with the AEIC Achievement Awards. These are AEIC's most prestigious awards for members who have clearly demonstrated significant contributions to advancing the operations of the electric energy industry.
This year, there was one AEIC President's Award and six AEIC Achievement Awards. The President's Award and the Achievement Awards all recognize important innovations aimed at evolving the operational excellence of the energy industry. This year, the President's Award goes to PPL Electric Utilities. The six Achievement Awards go to PPL Electric Utilities, Florida Power & Light Company in two areas, Con Edison, Southern California Edison, and Eversource.
