Keeping up with trends in renewable energy isn't easy and that is reflected in the name change of a must-attend colossal conference taking place in Anaheim from September 19 - 22. In 2022, the former SPI, ESI, and Smart Energy Week will be called RE+.

The name change reflects years of diversification at Solar Power International (SPI), as the event shifted to accommodate emerging trends and complementary markets, including energy storage, microgrids, Internet of Things, wind, hydrogen, fuel cells, and electric vehicles. SPI was started in 2004 by Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) to engage the business community. As RE+ continues to be the home for the clean energy industry, SPI and Energy Storage International (ESI) remain its backbone.

To learn more about this big change, PUF's Steve Mitnick sat down with SEPA VP of Engagement Adam Wasserman. Enjoy this discussion on why you should attend RE+ and find out how to register at Re-plus.com.

PUF's Steve Mitnick: Talk about this giant event. This has been an evolution each year, and it's grown bigger, but then we had a pandemic.
