This electrification story isn't just for Trekkies. While fascinating to hear up close about William Shatner's trip into space with Jeff Bezos of Blue Origin fame, well maybe you've heard of Amazon too, there is much more to this discussion. 

It's about electrification and the future. Sure, this is somewhat different than most PUF fare, with names mentioned here not usually found in these pages, yet it's proof of where the nation is heading, as most of us remember learning to ride a bike. 

Now bikes are electrified. PUF had the opportunity to talk with Don DiCostanzo, the founder of electric bike company, Pedego. He had quite a story to tell. 
 

PUF's Steve Mitnick: Our industry is focused on electrification, including transportation. As the owner of an electric bike company, do you realize you're part of this trend?

Don DiCostanzo: I didn't realize when I started the company that it would be so transformative. In 2007, I decided to open up a bike shop that would sell everything electric, because I sensed electric was going to happen.
