The Dentons Smart Cities and Connected Communities roundtable discussion on the book, Women Leading Utilities, the Pioneers and Path to Today and Tomorrow, authored by PUF's Steve Mitnick, was convened in late September. The discussion was held with the Woman's Council on Energy in the Environment.

The event was hosted by Clint Vince and Emma Hand, who co-chair Dentons' twelve-hundred-member global energy sector, as well as the Dentons' Think Tank. The duo was joined by Jennifer Morrissey, with the Smart Cities editorial board for the Think Tank.

Executive Editor, PUF, Steve Mitnick: Last year, I was moved from the events of spring of 2020 to write a book about Lewis Latimer, who was the polymath who helped found the electricity industry. But for the color of his skin, he is little renowned.
