How do today's natural gas utilities find the right balance, rigorously addressing ESG priorities while continuing to meet the needs of the communities they serve via gas utility service? PUF's Steve Mitnick: Give an overview of the sustainability initiatives at Eversource that are most important.

Catherine Finneran: I'm Vice President of Sustainability and Environmental Affairs. It's an officer-level position created about two years ago that demonstrated the company's commitment to sustainability.

Our strong sustainability program is integrated across all groups and nine thousand three hundred employees. We are committed to being a leader in sustainability.

Different sectors have varied roles to play when it comes to sustainability. There are many opportunities in the utility sector from our aggressive emission reduction targets we're pursuing and work on climate to our DE&I initiative and board-level ESG oversight where we're constantly driving our performance.
