Net zero energy solutions are the hottest trends in markets today. This panel gathered sizzling startup companies impacting energy markets via EPRI's Incubatenergy® Labs program. Here you will learn how these companies have been able to scale their solutions with utilities across the nation. Listen in to these highlights.
CEO, SHARC Energy Systems, Lynn Mueller: We were fortunate to have been part of the 2020 EPRI Incubatenergy Challenge. I directly credit a surge in success for SHARC to our participation with EPRI.
What we do at SHARC is recover energy that people have thrown away in a building. Every time you flush the toilet, have a shower, do your laundry or dishes, all of that wastewater was leaving the building, and it can be a big part of the solution for net zero energy. It can't be the whole solution, but it can be a big part.
We have the ability to recover that waste energy super efficiently. We operate at somewhere around three hundred and fifty to five hundred percent efficient to recover that energy with an electric heat pump.
