The American Association of Blacks in Energy held its 44th National Conference streaming live at the end of May. During the three-day conference, the Association hosted more than five hundred energy industry and community leaders.

Telisa Toliver, Chair of the AABE Board of Directors, took the virtual podium to address viewers on the State of Energy. A dynamic speaker, Toliver Connected the Dots on social issues and energy policy. Listen in on highlights of her remarks.

Telisa Toliver: AABE cannot solve all of the ills of our American society. There are areas where there is no one better than us to try. I want to talk to you about energy policy and how it impacts us or not. We know why AABE was formed. The theme of this conference is Connecting the Dots, focusing on actions we need to take now as consumers, industry participants and communities of color.
