I've been a Commissioner for about ten years in Wisconsin. I'm here today wearing my hat as Chair of NARUC's International Committee. NARUC's members include all of our fifty state Commissions, territories, and a lot of other stakeholders. We have a focus on state and national issues, but we have an ever-growing focus on international issues.

When we all used to go into the office and work, we were literally bursting at the seams at NARUC's offices and had to expand, mostly due to the growth of our international Staff. That speaks to our membership and knowledge that this role is important, not just in the U.S., but around the world and their willingness to participate and lend our resources and expertise to our friends around the world.

Like USEA, we partner with a lot of other agencies, like USAID, Department of State, and Department of Energy. We all bring strengths to the table and can work together in the international scene to help improve access to, and the quality of, energy regulation.

I was asked to speak about how we are partnering at NARUC with USEA. I'm also going to talk a little about the gender initiatives that NARUC has undertaken in the last few years. Our work at NARUC and the international department has not slowed down. We've adapted.
