What do twenty NASUCA office leaders have to say about the future of the utility industry, utility regulation, and consumer advocacy? NASUCA teamed up with PUF's Editor-In-Chief Steve Mitnick for a light-hearted look at serious issues. You know some fun was allowed, when Steve brought out his infamous gong, that is loud, banged when anyone goes over the allotted two minutes to speak. And bang, he did.

PUF's Steve Mitnick: Welcome to the NASUCA Spotlight. This is where we have about twenty of the consumer advocacy leaders from across the country. They get two minutes and not a second more to say what's on their mind, so they'll have to be succinct, which I'm sure they've always been. We have a great lineup as this is the voice for the Consumer Advocates in utility regulation.

We're going to have a lot of fun and learn what's going on from the standpoint of consumers. David Springe came up with these impressive questions. What do twenty NASUCA leaders have to say about the future of the utility industry, utility regulation, and consumer advocacy?

Delaware Public Advocate Drew Slater: A pressing issue from a Consumer Advocate perspective, is messaging and sharing our perspective. My office is unique in that all informal complaints must go through our office before they can become formal complaints with the Commission.
