What could a thousand people be doing a few weeks ago in Anaheim? No, they weren't gathered to take in Mickey and Goofy and their gang. They were having even more fun, at the Association of Energy Services Professionals' thirtieth annual conference and expo. It was the place to be for our industry's leaders in demand-side management, integrated DSM, and demand response.
On day one, Duke Energy's vice president for rate design and strategic solutions Lon Huber at the podium. On day two, there was Southern California Edison's director for e-mobility and building electrification Katie Sloan, as well as Ameren Missouri's director for energy efficiency and renewables Bill Davis, and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's director for efficiency solutions David Jacot. Day three included Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative vice president for distributed energy and sustainability Jeff Shaw, as well as Ameren Illinois' director for energy efficiency and innovation Kristol Simms, and NV Energy's director for renewable energy programs Sarah Chatterjee. And, batting cleanup, day four featured among others, thought leaders such as Beth Parsons and Jason Snyder, both from the Tennessee Valley Authority.
