PUF: Is being a commissioner a fun job?
Commissioner Conway: Yes. We get to hear all the points of view on any particular utility issue. We get to dive into the issues as deeply as we like and as comprehensively as we like. We have an impact on the way issues are ultimately resolved.
In my prior life, I was a proponent of one view about a particular issue or a particular set of issues on behalf of whatever client I was representing. In this position, I get to listen to all sides.
I figure out where the result ought to be made and weigh in on that, along with the other commissioners here and the staff members, on whom we rely heavily.
